Here’s how you get started…
- Contact the MAPPS Center for more information about the MAPPS Program
- Choose a team (the team will implement the MAPPS Program) made up of:
Teachers
Administrators
Curriculum Specialists
Parent Involvement Specialists - Obtain school and district “buy-in” by presenting an overview of the MAPPS Program to your implementation team and other administrators
- Arrange for the MAPPS Center to train facilitators in MAPPS activities
- Engage in community outreach for support or involvement
- Recruit parents to attend workshops and mini-courses
